NETWORK COMMAND
- ifconfig : Configure a network configure the kernel resident network interfaces. It is used at boot time to set up interfaces as necessary.
- dhclient : This script is used by the dhcp client to set each interface's initial configuration prior to requesting an address, to test the address once it has been offered, and to set the interface's final configuration once a lease has been acquired.
- ping : is a computer network administration utility used to test the reachability of a host on an Internet Protocol (IP) network and to measure the round-trip time for messages sent from the originating host to a destination computer
